The 36th MLSP workshop invites proposals for Special Sessions on topics that have not been covered in regular MLSP sessions and that have the potential to have a major impact on the field in the near future. Special Session proposals must contain the following information:
- Title of the proposed Special Session
- Names, affiliations, and contact information of the session organizers
- Brief biographies of the session organizers
- Brief description of the proposed session topic and discussion on why this is a good topic for an MLSP 2025 Special Session (up to 500 words),
-
Example tentative program which could look like the following (this is not an inclusive list, feel free to come up with your own session structure):
- Example 1: An invited speaker, followed by a poster or oral session
- Example 2: An oral session, followed by a panel discussion
- Example 3: A tutorial, followed by posters and oral presentations
In total, the session should take 2-3 hours. Try to propose names who could potentially join as invited speakers, or panelists.
- List of six (6) contributing papers (including titles, author names and affiliations, and a short abstract).
The papers in each accepted Special Session will undergo the same review evaluation process of the regular papers submitted to MLSP 2026.
The proposals should be sent to [email protected] with the subject line and body text including “Special Sessions” before the indicated deadline.
